More Than the Game: Building Brotherhood During March Madness
March Madness brought together Mentors, Alumni and Fellows for networking and fellowship. While some brackets may have been destroyed, relationships were certainly built. Wisdom was shared from numerous view points, ranging from sports, careers, education and life in general. Pitching with Purpose: MKE Fellows Shine at Shadow A CEO
The MKE Fellows made a historic return to this year’s 30 for 30: Shadow A CEO, presented by Coach Sidney Moncrief. This year’s Pitch and Pizza competition focused on networking through impactful elevator pitches. First, students were taught proper posture and body language when greeting others. Lamont Johnson Jr.
As a 2nd year Business major at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, MKE Fellow Lamont Johnson Jr. serves on the Executive Board of the Finance & Investment Society as the Director of Social Affairs. In 2026, Johnson spearheaded the first student‑led Information Systems Case Competition at the Wisconsin School of Business, an event that brought together 37 participants across 10 teams, all exploring the intersections of Data, Technology, and Insurance.
