William Holmes

Leadership + Service = William

Marquette University defines its Leadership Development Model as having a spirit of being contemplative in action, with leadership expressed through service to and alongside others. For over 50 years, the university’s Student Affairs department has recognized students who exemplify these qualities. During his freshman year, William Holmes received this recognition for his initiative, motivation, and potential.

While studying Criminology and Legal Studies, Holmes interned in Milwaukee to explore how he could better serve others. Passionate about supporting those who could not advocate for themselves, he found his calling in the nonprofit sector. After graduation, Holmes was determined to align his career goals with service and support for underrepresented communities.

In 2026, Holmes joined JusticePoint as an Administrative Assistant, supporting the organization’s mission to improve community outcomes. He soon took on an additional role as a Court Reminder Associate. In November 2026, William Holmes will begin his new role as a Case Manager in the Early Intervention Program.
