Mentor Highlight: Chris Hill

Our Mentor Highlight is Chris Hill, whose background in basketball has helped shape a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, and teamwork—but more importantly, a lifelong commitment to advancing and empowering young men. Throughout his career—spanning roles within institutions such as University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, University of Wisconsin-Parkside, and The Citadel, Chris has consistently used his platform to instill confidence, accountability, and purpose in the young men he mentors. His impact extends deeply into the community through his time with the Shorewood School District, where he played a meaningful role in guiding students during pivotal stages of their development. A Chicago native with a broad perspective shaped by both professional and life experiences, Chris brings authenticity and intention to everything he does. His continued commitment to impacting the lives of young men now extends into his role as an MKE Fellows mentor, where he is helping shape the next generation of leaders with insight, care, and purpose.
